Hedelands Vintage Railway

Hop aboard the old heritage train as it’s decorated for Christmas and runs through Hedeland Nature Park on festive weekends to collect Christmas trees.

It’s a cosy Christmas outing for the whole family, where you can pick your tree and browse for other seasonal decorations. The Yellow Scouts host a Christmas café with mulled wine and Danish æbleskiver (traditional apple dumplings).

There’s even room for a sledge if you’d like to enjoy a run down the nearby hill!

Step back in time and explore a traditional Danish general store as it looked 100 years ago — and bring home a beautiful Christmas tree.

Take a horse-drawn carriage ride, enjoy a warm cup of mulled wine and traditional Danish æbleskiver in the café, and make your own Christmas decorations during the festive market.
