Christmas lunches and festive food in Fjordlandet

From 20 November to 20 December 2026, as well as on Boxing Day, Restaurant Herthadalen invites you to a White Christmas and Festival of Lights in the forest. Enjoy festive menus, live Christmas jazz, sparkling lights and crackling fires in Skjoldungernes Land National Park.

Restaurant Bryggergården serves a traditional Danish Christmas lunch from 12 November to 23 December 2026. On 4 and 11 December, special Christmas evenings feature a DJ, food, drinks and a festive atmosphere in the heart of Roskilde.

Skoemagerkroen offers Christmas lunches, festive parties and overnight stays in November and December 2026. The Christmas menu is served at your table, with festive food also available to take away. Christmas lunch is served on Christmas Day and Boxing Day too.

Enjoy Christmas lunch aboard M/S Sagafjord while the ship is moored in Roskilde Harbour. In 2026, Christmas menus are available for groups, alongside à la carte Christmas lunches at weekends from 20 November to 19 December.

On 29 November and 6 and 13 December 2026, Herslev Bryghus invites you to Christmas lunch at the long table. Gather family or friends for a festive menu in the cosy surroundings of the brewery. Christmas lunches for private groups are also available.

Enjoy a selection of festive dishes to share at Restaurant Vigen, overlooking Roskilde Fjord. Christmas lunch is served from Wednesday to Sunday for two or more guests. In the evening, the restaurant offers four- and five-course menus with a festive twist.

From 10 November to 27 December 2026, Restaurant Toldboden serves Christmas lunch at your table with views of Frederikssund Harbour. Gather family, friends or colleagues at the restaurant, or order the festive food to take away and enjoy at home.

Sct. Hans Have invites you to Christmas lunch in the greenhouse, with a fire in the fireplace and a festive sharing menu. Lunch takes place on Thursdays and Fridays from 26 November to 18 December 2026, from 12.30 to 16.30. A vegetarian menu is available for the whole group.

From 12 November 2026, enjoy a traditional Danish Christmas lunch at Raadhuskælderen in the heart of Roskilde. The menu includes herring, fish fillet, Danish Christmas sausage, filled pastry cases and risalamande, a Danish rice dessert. The Christmas menu must be ordered in advance for the whole table.

From 13 November 2026, Fasaneriet offers a Christmas platter and a larger festive spread of classic Danish Christmas dishes. Enjoy lunch at the restaurant near Ledreborg, or order the food to take away for a cosy gathering at home or at work.
