“Fjordlandet” is a collective term for the scenic areas around Roskilde Fjord and Isefjord. Towns as well as landscapes hold a wealth of stories, but Fjordlandet is also vibrant harbour life and summer days buzzing with beachgoers, sailors, fishermen, migratory birds, nature lovers, and history and Viking enthusiasts.
Destination Fjordlandet is an association whose purpose is to create development and growth for the tourism industries in the municipalities of Roskilde, Lejre, and Frederikssund. The association is responsible for marketing the destination, and it is also its task to safeguard the tourism industry’s business and political interests.
