Oddestenen, also known as Odssten, lies on a headland beside Roskilde Fjord. The boulder is about five metres long, four metres wide and 2.3 metres high, with an estimated weight of 65 tonnes. It is made of gneiss with red garnets and was deposited by the ice during the last Ice Age. The site overlooks the island of Eskilsø. Public access follows the shoreline, and dogs must be kept on a lead.
