Havelse Ådal is a river valley in the countryside between Frederikssund and Halsnæs municipalities on Zealand, north-west of Copenhagen. The stream, low-lying land and open surroundings offer a different view of the area from its towns and main roads.

Enjoy the landscape and respect access rules

Look out for the valley as you travel through the area. The watercourse, vegetation and open stretches change character with the seasons.

Plan your outing around public roads and signed access points. This description is not a marked walking route, and a continuous public path beside the whole stream has not been documented. Do not enter private fields without permission.
