Bring your swimwear on a day trip to Frederikssund and add a swim to your visit. Frederikssund Harbour Bath, known locally as Kultur- og Havnebad, is centrally located by the fjord. Admission to the swimming basin is free throughout the year.
Practical information
The basin is 2.5 metres deep and suitable only for confident swimmers. The harbour bath is normally unstaffed, and swimming is at your own risk. Lifeguards are present during selected daytime hours in the Danish school summer holidays.
Outdoor showers and changing cabins are available. Indoor facilities, including the sauna, toilets and changing rooms, are temporarily closed. Check the municipality’s latest information before visiting and follow the signs on site.

Travel by train from Copenhagen
Take the S-train to Frederikssund Station and continue to the harbour bath on foot or by bike. Ordinary bicycles travel free on S-trains, subject to available space.
