Værebro Ådal - nature trails through meadows and wetlands

Værebro Ådal stretches for 14 kilometres from Ballerup to Roskilde Fjord near Jyllinge Nordmark. The river valley contains freshwater meadows, wetlands, lakes and reed beds that provide habitats for a varied range of wildlife and birds.

Explore the area along approximately 20 kilometres of nature trails and wooden boardwalks. The trails take you close to the river, former peat pits and the valley’s wetland landscape.
