Try the Tour de France stage from Roskilde with Mads Pedersen
On 2 July 2022, Stage 2 of the Tour de France passed through Roskilde before continuing through the landscapes of Fjordlandet. Today, cyclists can follow parts of the route themselves, combining the ride with nature, cultural heritage and experiences around Roskilde Fjord.
Cycle through Fjordlandet – follow the Tour de France route
Hop on your bike and follow in the tracks of riders including former world champion Mads Pedersen. The route through Fjordlandet takes you across a varied landscape, where fjords, open countryside and small communities provide the backdrop for your cycling adventure.
Cycling through Skjoldungernes Land National Park
Along the way, the route passes through Skjoldungernes Land National Park, Zealand’s first national park. Here, the cycle route takes you through a landscape shaped by fjords, forests, hills and traces of cultural history.
Combine your cycle ride with local experiences
Along and around the route, you can combine your cycle ride with the area’s cultural and natural attractions. Roskilde is home to UNESCO World Heritage, while Fjordlandet is also known for its local and organic food as well as attractions both large and small.
