Grønlien Gravel Pit in Frederikssund on Zealand is a former extraction site now used for outings and time outdoors. Lakes and slopes reveal its past, while paths connect the area with Sillebro Ådal.

Activities and picnic stops

Exercise and play equipment, tables and benches are provided in the area. Combine a walk with some activity and a picnic, or continue along the valley’s paths to explore more of Frederikssund’s green spaces.

Take care beside the lakes. The slopes can be steep with sharp drops, so keep away from the edges and pay particular attention when visiting with children.
