Enjoy Christmas at Ryegaard with a market in the carriage stable dating from 1656, horse-drawn carriage rides and Christmas trees to cut yourself. Browse the stalls for crafts, Christmas decorations and local delicacies.
Carriage rides and Christmas trees
Take a horse-drawn carriage into the woods and find your family’s Christmas tree. Tickets for the regular rides are sold on arrival and cannot be booked in advance. Larger groups can check the organiser’s website for private VIP carriage options.
Festive experiences for the family
Warm up with Danish Christmas pancake balls, mulled wine or hot chocolate in Brandsprøjtehuset, the old fire engine house. Rice pudding and pastry shells filled with game and pheasant are also served. Children can go on a Christmas elf hunt or enjoy a led pony ride.
