The camground Godset is an approximately 21,000 m² privately owned camp and nature area, beautifully situated in a protected and very quiet landscape south of Bjergskoven. Here, there is plenty of space, open skies and nature right on your doorstep.
The area includes camp areas, fire pits, woodland and one shelter with space for up to 8 people, making it ideal for associations and groups seeking a quiet camp with a focus on togetherness and outdoor life.
Facilities
The site includes a 12 m² service building with electric heating, a refrigerator with small freezer, a cooker with oven, and tables and chairs for up to 10 people. Fixed fire pits are located by the camp areas, the shelter and the campfire site in the gully. Firewood for normal use is included in the rental. The area also has its own water supply with approved drinking water and a compost toilet.
Nature, rules and consideration
The camp area is located in a protected area and borders Bjergskoven, which is private woodland owned by Ledreborg Estate. The rules for access to private forests apply. There is no access to the surrounding fields, and visitors are expected to move quietly and with respect for nature and wildlife. Noisy behaviour is not tolerated. Any special activities in the forest require permission from Ledreborg Estate.
Rental, transport and routes
The camp area is located approximately 2.5–3 km from Hvalsø Station, with regional trains towards Copenhagen and Kalundborg, making it easy to reach.
The cycle routes Istidsruten (route 44) and Munkevejen (route 88) pass close to the area and invite you to enjoy pleasant cycling trips.
The rental fee consists of a basic charge of 250 DKK per rental plus 30 DKK per participant per night. The shelter with space for up to 8 people is included in the rental. Access by car and parking on the site is possible by prior agreement. Driving onto the site without prior agreement is not permitted.
