Dumpedal Apple Orchard Shelter

Stay overnight in peaceful, atmospheric surroundings in the heart of an old apple orchard at Dumpedal.

Shelter in the apple orchard

The shelter is quietly located in the middle of Dumpedal’s apple orchard and accommodates up to approximately six people. Here, you can enjoy a simple and cosy shelter stay, maintained by local volunteers with a strong passion for nature.

The area is managed and cared for by the association Dumpedal Æblelaug, which works to preserve the orchard and create nature experiences rooted in the local community.

Booking the shelter

Overnight stays in the shelter require advance booking. Reservations are made by contacting the owner of the shelter, Dumpedal Æblelaug, represented by Bodil Skov. Contact details can be found at the top of the page.

Finding the shelter

The apple orchard is located on the eastern side of Tølløsevej, opposite the property at Tølløsevej 41, 4340 Tølløse. The site is just before the road becomes Dumpedalvej when travelling from Hvalsø towards Tølløse.

Parking is available at the orchard, allowing you to keep your car conveniently close by.

Walking and cycling routes nearby

National Cycle Route 44, the Ice Age Route, and Route 88, the Pilgrims’ Route (Munkevejen), pass approximately 900 metres from the shelter via Tadre Møllevej through woodland, with trail access from Tølløsevej. There is also around 1 km to the routes via country roads at the junction of Soderup Kirkevej, Tadrevej and Aastrupvej.
