Skuldelev Strand lies about 350 metres south of Skuldelev Harbour on Roskilde Fjord, on Zealand’s Hornsherred peninsula. A small sandy beach adjoins a larger grassy area with planting, suitable for a picnic or a break after swimming. The water is shallow with a soft bottom and some stones, and there is a bathing jetty.

Picnics and practical information

The area has picnic tables, barbecue facilities and a fire pit. Parking and toilets at the harbour are available. For overnight stays, see the separate Skuldelev shelter and tent-site listing and check its current rules. Check the municipality’s bathing-water information before visiting.
