Picnics and kitesurfing
Landerslev Strand on Zealand’s Hornsherred peninsula welcomes both families on an outing and kitesurfers. Grassy areas, shallow water and a sandy seabed with few stones provide the setting. Bring a picnic and enjoy the view across Isefjord.
Kitesurfing on the fjord
The flat, shallow water inside the bay is used for kitesurfing and freestyle, while sandbanks farther out can create waves. Conditions depend on wind and weather. The spot is described as suitable in north-westerly winds, as well as winds from the west and south-west. Match conditions to your experience and keep clear of swimmers.
The beach is at the end of Strandhøjvej. There are no toilets or bathing jetty. Check current bathing-water information before swimming.
