Quite close to Copenhagen, you can experience unique nature and varied landscapes, get fresh sea and land air and feel the whir of history.

Lace up your walking shoes, fill your rucksack with food and water – and disappear into one of the national park’s deep forests, explore the manor landscape or take a tour along the fjord

Good behavior in nature

In nature, there must be room for everyone, people, animals and nature itself. It is therefore important that we know and comply with the applicable access rules in nature.

Simple advice:

  • Greet those you meet.
  • Throw rubbish in the bin or take it home with you.
  • Keep your dog on a leash.
  • Stay on the road and trail in private forests and in the open country.

Large parts of Fjordlandet’s natural areas are part of Skjoldungernes Land National Park.

There are two public forests in the National Park and Fjordland: Boserup Skov and Bidstrup Skovene. Here there are good opportunities to practice outdoor activities and experience nature.

Jægerspris Nordskov is a private forest with public access. That is that you may walk and cycle on paths and roads in the forest during the day.
